Security Guard Full Time Patrol Operations

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Louisville, KY, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access activity and help maintain awareness of authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractor movement in accordance with site requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$17.00 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
