Security Guard Full Time Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Shreveport, LA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate reporting channels.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site policies, assisting with the orderly movement of authorized personnel and deliveries.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
- Walk or stand for long periods of time.
Pay
Pay Rate: $16.38 per hour

- Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
