Security Guard Full Time Patrol Customer Support

About the role
As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment through routine rounds and professional interactions while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and direction-giving throughout the location.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and report concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
