Security Guard Full Time Patrol Compliance

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations in required reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, contractors, and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
