Security Guard Full Time Observation

About the Role

As a Full Time Security Guard (Observation) in Jackson, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, check visitor and contractor credentials, and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.14 per hour.

Schedule

• Daytime shifts: Monday through Friday, 06:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
