As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and promptly report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious activity in accordance with site protocols.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and policy violations through accurate logs and reports.

Requirements

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
