Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance Monitor in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff while responding to security-related needs with professionalism.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, building perimeters, entry points, and common spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of facility activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs for incidents, observations, and security-related matters, while maintaining professional communication with individuals receiving services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
