Security Guard Full Time Evening Shift

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Pay

$17.37 / hour

• Monday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tuesday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wednesday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thursday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Friday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
