Job Description As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will conduct routine patrols throughout an automotive location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service and clear communication. You will support a positive environment through observation, reporting, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and automotive facility personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive training areas, parking lots, buildings, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour
