Security Guard Full Time Bike Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public school environment. You will conduct routine bike patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other members of the school community while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to designated personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with school administrators, staff, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and daily activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and professionally to incidents and concerns.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response activities.
