Security Guard – Full Time

Seeking a professional and dependable Security Guard to provide a safe and secure environment for museum guests, employees, volunteers, contractors, and property.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility access
• Conduct patrols
• Respond to emergencies
• Document incidents
• Enforce museum policies
• Assist guests and staff as needed
• Serve as a visible security presence and first point of contact for safety and security-related concerns throughout the museum facility

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Sound judgment and ability to remain calm during emergencies
• Basic computer skills

Pay

Starts at $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
