Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
