Security Officer Full Time Asset Protection Patrol

About the Role

As a Full Time Asset Protection Patrol Security Officer in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and integrity in reporting observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and problem-solving, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.98 per hour.

Schedule

• Daytime shift: Monday through Friday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM.
