Security Guard Front Desk Access Coordinator

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access credentials, monitor security-related systems, and provide outstanding customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help support a secure, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor management processes, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials, issue temporary access badges, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a welcoming workplace environment.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
