Security Guard Flexible Schedule

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Landover, MD. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, authorization to work in the US, and exceptional customer service skills. They must also have at least 3 years of relevant experience, including Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience. Applicants must provide documentation of their high school diploma or GED, be able to pass an extensive screening process, and have a valid Maryland Guard Card. Responsibilities

• Tell visitors how you reassure and inspire confidence through your natural ability to engage with others.
• Manage access control and perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone and write incident reports.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

• Able to work in various shifts including mornings, evenings, and overnights.
• Must be at least 21 years old or older.
• Have a state license if required.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have CPR/First Aid Certification.

Pay

The hourly wage is $22.85-$24.00 per hour, with DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees.

Schedule

This is a flexible schedule with open availability for weekdays and weekends. Scheduling could vary based on site needs, and not able to guarantee full-time hours.
