Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor traffic, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Support daily property operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with routine inquiries, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related concerns noticed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
