Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Guard - Flex. The Security Guard - Flex will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. Responsibilities

• Manage access control procedures
• Maintain and issue employee and visitor badges
• Conduct interior and exterior security patrols
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations
• Maintain a strong security presence throughout the facility
• Interact with employees, contractors, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in emergencies

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licenses required vary by state and/or local laws and regulations
• Must be at least 18 years old, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
• Must be reliable and able to adapt to different post assignments
• Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, active listening, and problem-solving abilities
• Must assess and evaluate situations effectively, identifying critical issues quickly and accurately
• Must be able to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including irregular shifts with little to no advance notice

Schedule and Pay

The Security Professional Flex Officer may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice. Location: Denver, CO Pay: $21.30 an hour This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, locations, and schedules based on operational needs.
