What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
