Security Guard Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard – Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as cultural institutions. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and program participants by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of park grounds, trails, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, public spaces, and event areas; assist with visitor directions, rules compliance, and reporting of suspicious activity or unusual conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Pay

$13.00 per hour

• Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
