What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and driver authorization, directing arrivals, and maintaining required entry and exit documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, deliveries, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
