Security Guard - Evenings - Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Management in Springfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while supporting routine site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records; communicate access instructions and report access-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
