Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver

About the Role

This part-time enhanced security officer position is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts. It is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours one week and full-time the next—it is all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating observations to appropriate site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $27.55 / Hour
• Job Schedule: Daytime, Wednesday, 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
