Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate site contacts.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree with 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• DD214 with honorable discharge or associate degree with 60 college credits or police academy certificate or corrections academy certificate.
• Guard card or license.
• Alarm panel experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
