Job Description

That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Honolulu, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day, Time, Sun (05:30 AM - 01:30 PM)

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, offering assistance to guests and supporting access control, crowd management, and other security-related needs as directed by site procedures.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and coordinating with store leadership and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
