Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; verify access authorization and direct visitors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance and notify appropriate personnel when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, screening-related activities, and unusual occurrences in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Schedule

DayTimeFri10:00 AM - 08:00 PM. This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed-shift.
