Job Description
As a Security Guard Driver Access Control in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify authorization for entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site procedures.
- Control access to employee entrances, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and other restricted areas; report unauthorized access attempts and irregular conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
