Security Guard Access Control Driver

About the role

As a Security Guard Access Control Driver in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and employee access, and support security-related procedures. This role requires visibility, professional communication, and exceptional customer service to deter incidents. A valid driver’s license in the job state is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry credentials, manage visitor and driver check-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$16.33 / hour

• Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
