Security Guard - Distribution Center

About the role

As a Security Guard - Distribution, you will focus on customer service while working with people on all shifts in a warehouse/distribution environment. Your ability to engage with others reassures and inspires confidence, building meaningful connections. Site Location: Roanoke, Va.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Able to ace and pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience (preferred)
• Possess a state license if required
