Security Guard Customer Assistance Patrol
About the role
As a Security Guard Customer Assistance Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a respected financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
- Support daily operations by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of high-traffic and sensitive areas, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
- Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
Skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Alarm panel experience.
- Access control and/or badge experience.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Customer service experience.
