Security Guard - Clinic Patrol

About the role

As a Security Guard - Clinic Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and provide directions or assistance to visitors and/or personnel while supporting site rules and visitor management practices.
• Communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
