Security Guard

About the role

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the security of all gates and buildings, make hourly rounds, direct deliveries, and assist in the distribution of manifests.

Responsibilities

• Securing all gates and buildings
• Making hourly rounds of the property including Operations buildings
• Transmitting paperwork and copies between the front office and delivery drivers
• Checking in delivery drivers and vendors
• Liaising with Transportation and Operations for directing deliveries
• Maintaining an accurate log of all entries to and exits from the plant
• Maintaining an accurate log of the location of loads in the plant and 10-day yard
• Ensuring all gates and entrances are always closed and secured

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of verifiable experience in security
