Security Guard
Venue Security & Safety
Monitor assigned areas of the venue, entrances, exits, perimeter fencing, backstage areas, VIP spaces, and public assembly locations.
Enforce venue policies, security procedures, and emergency protocols.
Conduct routine patrols throughout the venue to identify and address safety concerns.
Monitor guest behavior and proactively address situations before they escalate.
Assist with crowd management during events, peak entry periods, artist arrivals, and venue exits.
Access Control
Verify credentials and control access to restricted areas.
Monitor staff, vendor, artist, and contractor entry points.
Assist with bag checks and security screening procedures as directed.
Prevent unauthorized access to backstage, production, and operational areas.
Emergency Response
Respond immediately to medical incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, fire alarms, and emergencies.
Assist emergency responders, law enforcement, and venue management as necessary.
Implement evacuation procedures when required.
Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
Fire Guard Duties (F-04)
Perform duties required under New York City Fire Code for temporary places of public assembly.
Monitor fire safety conditions and maintain fire watch responsibilities.
Ensure emergency exits, egress pathways, and fire protection equipment remain accessible and unobstructed.
Immediately report fire hazards and safety concerns.
Guest Experience
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining security standards.
Interact professionally with guests, artists, management, and fellow team members.
De-escalate conflicts using calm, professional communication techniques.
Represent the Pacha brand with professionalism and respect at all times.

Payscale
Salary Range: USD 30– 40 per hour (Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity).

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of security experience in nightlife, entertainment, hospitality, festivals, concerts, sports venues, or large public gatherings preferred.
- Experience working in high-volume event environments strongly preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong verbal communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours.
- Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to navigate large crowds and active event environments.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
