About the role
Maintains security at the facility by monitoring plant activity.
- Conducts hourly rounds to check trailer and room temperatures, and gate status.
- Monitors associates entering and exiting the building, including vehicle traffic.
- Weights trailers in and out using the scale.
- Answers switchboard calls after hours.
- Bills loads as needed.
- Fulfills assigned tasks while following and implementing company policies.
- Operates company-owned vehicles.
- Inspects trailers for cleanliness and operability.
- Receives shipments of supplies and raw materials.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong computer skills.
- Preferred: Security experience.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED, though not required.
Skills
- Ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather, and up/down stairs.
- Ability to work any shift.
- Attention to detail.
- Professional attitude.
