Security Guard

About the role

To help aid in the creation of a new casino culture, Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a Security Guard.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and guests.
• Possess keen observation skills and understand basic card room games.
• Demonstrate high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.
• Operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively.
• Write an accurate detailed report.
• Count chips with a limited number of mistakes.
• Ensure guest service is of the utmost importance.
• Work any shift, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years old.
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD
• Must possess a valid California Guard Card.
• MUST HAVE A VALID CALIFORNIA GUARD CARD
• MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A CURRENT CALIFORNIA GAMBLING ESTABLISHMENT EMPLOYEE PERMIT, BADGE OR LICENSE.
• MUST PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY IN THE U.S.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A MANDATORY DRUG TEST, CRIMINAL BACKGROUND AND CREDIT CHECK.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.
• Able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.

Skills

• Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
