Security Guard
Overview
This is a seasonal position, July - October, located on Mackinac Island. This position is open to Domestic applicants requiring no visa sponsorship. Meals & dormitory style housing is available at a cost of $19.50 per day. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team!
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior security/law enforcement experience, hotel preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
