Security Guard

About the role

To maintain the security and safety of the student body, faculty, and staff, you will patrol the campus and secure buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing and implementing action plans to provide a safe environment
• Respond immediately to threats of imminent violence, criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, auto accidents, and other emergencies
• Supervise and patrol school activities
• Ensure doors are locked and unlocked according to the principal’s instructions
• Regulate student behavior in classrooms, cafeteria, gym, restrooms, locker rooms, parking lots, and other campus areas

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Demonstrated knowledge of security procedures
• Job-related experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
