About the role

As an Armed Patrol Security Guard in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents. The role involves providing professional customer service, communicating with employees and visitors, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a critical technology infrastructure location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, data hall access points, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; verify authorization and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and access-related documentation.
  • Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal, client, and applicable legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • State, county, or city-issued security-related license.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Access control and badge experience.

Pay

$19.83 per hour.

Schedule

  • Part-Time
  • Day shift: Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
