Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
Pay Rate: $20.36 / Hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
