As an Armed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support residents and visitors with professional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and incidents as required.
• Communicate clearly with residents, staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, concerns, and shift activities.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.90 per hour

Schedule

Part-time. Shifts: Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
