Security Guard Armed Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, particularly financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site policies and procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related matters, and maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour
