Pay Rate
$22.66 / Hour
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience
- Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have an armed guard card/license is preferred
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, donors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, verifying credentials, directing visitors, and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support healthcare operations by remaining prepared to respond to medical, behavioral, and/or security-related events, while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience
