As a Security Guard Armed Driving Role in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal in a government location as an armed and driving officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this dynamic role, you will respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and contraband concerns in accordance with post orders.
• Support custody-related operations by maintaining visible presence, following chain-of-command instructions, and assisting with security-related escorts, movement control, and incident response as directed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.50 / Hour

Schedule

Daytime: Wed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Fri 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Sat 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
