Security Guard Armed Driver Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Driver Patrol Security Guard in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position involves responding to security-related concerns, communicating professionally, and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate incident reports.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$28.00 / hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Day shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday, 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM
