You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies, documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken through required reporting procedures.Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies for armed personnel. Minimum Requirements Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
