Security Guard - Airport Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, visitors, and staff through outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, employee spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting visitors with directions and/or general questions, and documenting security-related activities as required.

Requirements

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
