As a Security Guard Access Control Enhanced Part Time in Crossett, AR, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 02:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, issuing temporary access materials, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures.Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, perimeter areas, parking locations, and operational areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.Document daily activities, access-related events, incidents, and irregular conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
