About the role
TeleSign is looking to hire a Security Governance Specialist to oversee all aspects of TeleSign’s security practice, including its alignment with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2, and its regulatory compliance. The person will also act as TeleSign’s face of security to vendors, customers, and others as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate compliance with programs and processes to mitigate cybersecurity risks and ensure protection of company and allied assets and information.
- Maintain policies, processes, and controls to raise the overall security and compliance posture of the Information Security Program, including reporting, planning, and tracking remediations/mitigation plans.
- Research, evaluate, and interpret current and pending governmental laws and regulations, industry standards, and customer and vendor contracts to communicate compliance requirements.
- Define and conduct information security risk assessments, security compliance audits, and cybersecurity audits.
- Work with business leaders to ensure information security risk findings are reviewed and solutions are implemented.
- Support the maintenance of TeleSign security practices to ISO 27001 and ISO 27701.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the areas of information classification, data protection, and risk assessment.
- Support the Information Security and IT compliance awareness, communication, and education programs.
- Support sales engineering to respond to proposed/current customer security questionnaires.
- Provide subject matter expertise related to IT general controls and Information Security policies and standards.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' work experience in Information Security, IT risk management, IT governance, or IT audit.
- Experience implementing, supporting, or auditing ISO 27001 & ISO 27701 compliance.
- Experience with SOC 2 report management.
- Capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously with a good sense of priorities.
- Great documentation skills on policies and procedures.
- Highly motivated and team-oriented.
- Effective verbal and written communications with presentation skills.
