Security-FT-Flex Shift (The Starling Hotel)

About the role

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Security Guard to join their team. SHG is an organization committed to hospitality, respect, authenticity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Patrols property, inside and out during all shifts
• Checks doors and stairwells to ensure they are secure
• Responds to complaints and calls for help
• Purchases, maintains, and monitors security cameras and alarm systems
• Escorts unruly patrons and loiterers from the property
• Aids in securing taxis for inebriated guests
• Fills out reports at the end of each shift
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years in a Security role
• High School education, with post-high school education preferred, and Peace Officer training preferred

Qualifications

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. Authoritative verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. Knowledge of the property and buildings layout.

Pay

Compensation Range: 17.00
