Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a professional aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry points, badge activity, and visitor access processes to help support authorized access and report unauthorized persons and/or restricted area concerns.
• Support site preparedness by following post orders, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with evacuations, medical responses, and/or other security-related situations when directed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
