Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and vehicle access records.
  • Control access to the facility, trailer yards, loading areas, and restricted locations in accordance with established security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
  • Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

  • Security experience is preferred.
  • Customer service skills are preferred.

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

DayTime: Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
